Last year my wife and I took the decision to retire and this blog is about our journey into retirement which will start in April 2019. There are many plans most of which revolve around re-ordering our lives. Whenever we don’t have enough time our catch phrase is…..”when we’re retired we will………”.
As part of the journey I’m going to run in the London Marathon, partly unfinished business from the marathon I ran in Berlin in 1985 and partly to befit enough for the rigours of retirement.
After the marathon we are off in campervan, Betsy, for a road tour around Italy. This blog is a record of our journey to retirement.
